The 'Valeriushoeve' or 'Valerius' farm is a restored farm situated in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. Five luxury holiday apartments for 2 to 7 persons are availble throughout the whole year. The 'Valeriushoeve' is close to the city of Geraardsbergen, which is well known by cyclists for its hills the 'Muur'(the Wall) and the 'Bosberg'. On a 5 minutes drive you'll find also the provincial domain "De Gavers" on which a swimming pool, a lake for aquatic sports and a small beach is located.
The holiday apartments are for rent for a weekend, midweek, week or for a longer stay. On request we can also offer an overnight stay and a breakfast service is possible every morning on request.
All of the apartments are located around the central courtyard of the farm where you can sit down and relax in one of the terrace chairs. For those who like a garden better, we have a big one at your disposition too. The 'Valeriushoeve' hostst also a hall that can be used for several purposes such as table tennis, table soccer, meetings or common meals.
Cyclists can store their bikes safely a separate room. Bike wash is possible on request.
What makes the "Valeriushoeve" quite unique is the fact that even nowadays we still keep a close contact to the animals that once lived on the farm. You'll find our ponies, cows, cats,.. in the close neighbourhood and of course you are very welcome to visit our modern livestock company that is still very active today. (possible to visit it by foot).
If you come by train, please note that our accomodation is very close to the train station of "Zandbergen" where we can arrange a free pick up on request.
